MRS. ANTHONY HALL.
Mrs. Janet Euphemia Hall, wife of Mr. Anthony Hall, of Thurlestone Street, died on Tuesday last, after an illness extending over several months, at the age of 66. In January last she underwent an operation in Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney, and following the operation she had a paralytic stroke, from the effects of which she did not recover. The late Mrs. Hall was born in the Barnawatha district, Victoria, and came to this part of New South Wales some 32 years ago, with her husband, settling first at Bumbury and afterwards at Coobang. About five years ago, the aged couple took up their residence in town. Besides her husband, who is 83 years of age, the deceased is survived by four sons, three daughters, and fourteen grandchildren The sons are Mr. Anthony Hall (Condobolin), and Messrs. William, Thomas and James Hall, all of Parkes, and the daughters Mrs. John Jelbart (Alectown), Mrs. G. Lewis (Parkes), and Mrs. J. McFarlane (Bindogundra). The funeral took place yesterday afternoon, moving first from her late residence to St. George's Church, and thence to the Anglican cemetery. The four sons acted as pall-bearers, and the burial service was read by the Rev. A. E. Weston. Mr. J. T. Cock had charge of the funeral arrangements. The late Mrs. Hall was a kindly soul, who was held in deep affection by all who knew her, and sincere sympathy is felt for the bereaved family.
