  Notes	CHILDS TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, The two-year-old daughter of Mr and Mrs Bleisner, of Tarong-road, Nanango (Q.), had an extraordinary experience while in bed at Mr Embrey's barn.  At about half-past 2 o'clock on Wednesday morning Mrs Bliesner was startled by hearing the child cry, and she noticed that its hand was hanging out of bed. With difficulty she pulled it into the bed, and found that a large carpet snake had the little one's hand in its mouth. The snake was despatched, the usual remedies were applied to the bitten hand, and the child was brought to a doctor for further attention. The whole hand and wrist had been down the reptile's mouth.
