WOMAN DIES FOLLOWING ACCIDENT
Mrs Maud Annie Nielsen, wife of Mr Andrew Nielsen, of Hunter Street, whose skull was fractured when she collided with a motor cyclist on Sunday night, died in the Bundaberg General Hospital late that night.
The motor cyclist, S Rasmussen, of Bagara, had his collarbone fractured.

Mrs Nielsen was walking along the street on her way to attend a service in the Salvation Army Citadel. She was a native of Gympie, where she spent the greater part of her life. Her husband was a minister of the Elim Four-Square Church at Gympie, and on his retirement 11 years ago, they came to Bundaberg.
Mrs Nielsen was a prominent member of the Salvation Army.
In addition to her husband, Mrs Nielsen is survived by an adult family of five sons, E A (New South Wales), Winton, Ray and Eric (Brisbane), Ralph and Desmond (Rockhampton), and two daughters, Mrs W Moorehead (Rockhampton), and Miss Una Nielsen, of New South Wales.
The funeral will move from the Salvation Army Citadel this afternoon: Arrangements are in the hands of Garland and Son.
[Not sure why Ralph was mentioned as a son]
