MR. W. BULOW.
The death of Mr. W. Bulow (which occurred after a short illness at his residence at the intersection of West and Union Streets on Wednesday night last), has removed a well-known resident of Fernvale and Ipswich from our midst. The deceased was a native of Germany, and arrived with his parents in Brisbane when only eight years old. At an early age he was apprenticed to the blacksmithing trade under Mr. S. Fraser. After thus spending some years he went into business, in conjunction with his brothers, at Fernvale, at which place he was a well-known and respected identity up to the time of his demise. A widow, one son (Mr. Herbert Bulow), and one daughter (Miss Ada Bulow) survive him. The funeral left his late residence, for the Ipswich cemetery at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The service at the graveside was performed by the Rev. J. Browes (superintendant of the Ipswich Methodist Circuit).
