      OBITUARY

      MR. C. L. HAUG

      WONDAI. July 31. - The death occurred suddenly of Mr. Carl Ludwig Haug, of Cushnie, while engaged in his work on Tuesday afternoon. The late Mr. Haug was born in Wittenburg, Germany, and came to Australia with his parents over 50 years ago, after spending about 24 years in the Dayboro district, he came to the Wondai district and settled at Cushnie where he had resided ever since. The deceased gentleman was widely known throughout the whole district and his genial personality always won for him a large circle of friends. The late Mr. Haug is survived by his widow, one son and two daughters.
