      WEDDING BELLS.
      IMRIE--SMITH.
The marriage of Mr. Andrew Crawford McLaughlin Imrie, youngest son of the late Mr. W. H. Imrie, of Glasgow. Scotland, and Miss Rose E. Smith, youngest daughter of Mrs. E. Smith of Albert-street, Rosewood, which was celebrated in the Congregational Church, Rosewood, on 17th April, by Rev. C. A. Capern, attracted a good deal of interest. The bride was motored to the church by Mr. Jas. Evers, while Mr. W. Ruhno placed his car at the disposal of the guests. The church had been very prettily decorated. The bride, who was given away by Mr. W. Rhuno, was very charming is her dainty gown of pale champagne crepe-de~chene over georgette, skirt with panels edged with silk fringe, deep swathe and buckle, bodice trimmed with filet lace and embroidered in pearls. Her veil (which was lent by Mrs. Kleve) was worn with a pretty cap of Limerick lace, which was the gift of a friend from Ireland, and sprays of orange blossoms, and her bouquet of white roses and eucharis lilies was the bridegroom's gift. Miss Lucy Freeman, niece of the bride, was bridesmaid and wore a becoming costume of pale pink with velvet streamers, hat of black tulle. Her bouquet of sweet peas with amethyst streamers and an amethyst pendant were gifts of of the bridegroom. Mr. E. Fraser was best man. The service was fully choral, the choir rendering the hymn "Love Divine" while Miss R. Allen sang "The Voice that Breathed o'er Eden," and Miss Lily Allen played the "Wedding March." After the ceremony, Mrs. Smith entertained the relatives and a very few immediate friends at her residence. Mr. Ruhno presided, and the usual toasts were duly honoured. The handsome wedding cake was made by Mr. J. E. Evers. Mr. and Mrs. Imrie left by the evening train en route for Coolangatta, where the honeymoon is being spent, and afterwards they will leave for an extended trip to the Southern States. The bride's travelling dress was a navy tailored costume, hat of French tagel straw with coloured bands. The bridal dress was the entire work of Miss E. M'Laughlin. Mr. and Mrs. Imrie were the recipients of many congratulatory telegrams and a number of handsome and useful presents. [2]
