      LUTHERAN CHURCH WEDDING

      MR. JOHANAS NOACK and Miss Grace Mary Schafferius, who are being married in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Warren Street, Valley, this afternoon, will make their home on Rooke Island, New Guinea, where Mr. Noack is a lay missionary of the Lutheran Church.

      THE bridegroom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Noack, Gawler, South Australia, and the bride is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Schafferius, Ingoldsby, Queensland.

      Rev. T. A. Reimers is officiating and Rev. Dr. Joanzon, of Adelaide, is delivering the wedding address The bride who is being given away by Mr. Edwin Buck is wearing white chiffon lace over cream satin. Fashioned on straight lines the frock is cut with a pointed bodice. A coronet of orange blossom holds in place her veil of cut tulle and she is carrying a bouquet of white flowers and touches of cream.

      Misses Myrtle and Gertrude Schafferius, the bridesmaids are wearing cream satin made on similar lines to the bride's frock. Their short tulle veils are caught with sprays of flowers and they are carrying bouquets of cream and pink flowers.

      Mr. W. Schafferius is the best man and Mr. Gordon Buck the groomsman.

      Following the ceremony a reception will be held in the church hall where the guests will be received by the bride's mother. She will wear black floral crepe allied with a black hat and a bouquet of browalia. Mrs. Noack has chosen black crepe to which she will add a matching hat and a bouquet of roses.

      The bridal couple leave for New Guinea by the Montoro. [4]
