      RUSSELL--MILLER.

The marriage of Mr. Ernest Russell (elder son of Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Russell, Caboolture) to Miss Sarah Miller (eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. S. Miller, Collinsville, North Queensland) was celebrated in the Albert-street Methodist Church on August 21 by the Rev. Dr. G. E. Rowe. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of ivory crepe de Chine, and radia lace. Her court train of pink satin, veiled with French net was attached at the shoulders with sprays of orange blossom, and her veil of embroidered silk net was held in position with a ribbon latticed cap and a wreath of orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of arum lilies, tied with white streamers. Misses Rita Miller (sister of the bride), and Eileen Russell (sister of the bridegroom) attended as bridesmaids. They were frocked alike in white satin, with silk lace, and their hair was arranged with wreaths of silver leaves. Each carried a bouquet of mauve sweet peas and pink roses. Mr. Irwin Mewett carried out the duties of best man. Misses Thelma Russell (sister of the bridegroom) and Violet Bowen attended as flower girls, frocked in pink crepe de Chine, finished with ribbon shoulder streamers. They wore wreaths of silver leaves in their hair, and carried baskets of sweet peas and asparagus plumosus. Little Miss Dulcie Wyllie, who bore the bride's train, was frocked in georgette and silver tinsel. At the conclusion of the ceremony about 40 guests were entertained at Webster's Cafe Majestic. On leaving by the Townsville mail train for Bowen, where they will in future reside, Mrs. Ernest Russell wore a travelling costume of brown Marocain, relieved with mastic, with a hat to match. [7]
