      ORANGE BLOSSOMS.
A very pretty and interesting wedding was celebrated at Minden last Thursday, the 16th instant, when Mr. Gustav Emil Neuendorff (youngest son of Mrs. J. Neuendorff and the late Mr. J. Neuendorff) was united it the holy bonds of wedlock to Miss Martha Augusta Amelia Behm (fourth daughter of Mr. August Behm). The ceremony was performed by the Rev. John Frank, of Walloon, in the Minden Zion's Lutheran Church, in the presence of a fair attendance of guests. The bride, who was led to the altar by Mr. Hugo Sakrzewski, was attired in a charming and beautiful dress which was made by Miss M'Garrigal, of Laidley, of silk figured lustis, trimmed with chiffon and several shirred frills, trimmed at foot of skirt, and silk lace. She wore a pretty gold brooch, a tuille veil, and a wreath of myrtle, and also carried a bouquet of myrtle, the gift of the bridegroom. She was attended by her two sisters, Miss Augusta Behm (chief), whose dress was of cream cashmere, trimmed with white silk ribbon, with soft lace, and gathered frills with tucks. She also wore two gold brooches, a spray of orange blossoms in her hair, and carried a bouquet of orange blossoms. Miss Bertha Behm was attired in a dress of white muslin trimmed with soft lace and gathered frill. She wore a gold necklace and two gold brooches, also a spray of orange blossoms in her hair, and carried a bouquet of orange blossoms. The groomsmen were Messrs. Hugo and Max. Sakrzewski. Shortly before the ceremony took place the Rev. J. Frank delivered a very impressive sermon, based on Psalm cxxviii., his address mainly affecting the young couple. Several hymns were also sung, Mr. Ernest Beduhn, presiding at the organ. Immediately after the celebration of the marriage the happy couple left the church, and they were greeted with showers of rice and warm congratulations. The bridal party were then driven to the residence of the bridegroom's widowed mother by Mr. O. T. Sakrzewski in a beautifully-decorated spring waggon. On arrival at the house the young pair were again greeted with showers of rice. The bridal corner was tastefully decorated with petty flowers and greenery and two hearts, cut out of pink tissue-paper, were affixed to a big sheet of white calico. About 1 o'clock the guests sat down to sample the good things which had been provided for them. In front of the newly-wedded couple a beautiful one-tier wedding-cake was placed, having been made by the well-known baker, at Rosewood, Mr. Don. At the conclusion of the breakfast the Rev. J. Frank called upon Mr. O. T. Sakzewski to propose the health of the young couple, and the rev. gentleman proposed the health of the parents. All present charged their glasses and sang the well-known German toast-song, "Hoch ! Sollen sie leben ! Hoch ! Sollen sie leben drie mahe hoch !" The afternoon was spent in various amusements, such as rounders, twos-and-threes, &c., and at night dancing was indulged in and kept going till daylight. Mr. August Fritz acted as M.C. Splendid music (violin) was supplied by Mr. A. Behm (brother of the bride), Messrs. O. T. Sakrzewski, and Otto Wenk. About 7 p.m. a tin-kettling band arrived, and gave the young couple a good serenade. They were provided with refreshments to their satisfaction, and, after wishing the happy pair every prosperity, they departed. Towards morning the guests left for their respective homes after a good day's and night's enjoyment, and wishing Mr. and Mrs. Neuendorff prosperity, long life, &c. The presents were numerous and costly.
