      DEATH AT HATTON VALE.
We have to record the sad death of Mrs. Kerlin, of Hatton Vale, which occurred in Laidley yesterday evening (says the "Lockyer Star" of October 21). On the previous day Mrs. Kerlin was brought in to the residence of Mrs. Engle, and Dr. Macdonald was summoned. All that medical aid could suggest, was done for the unfortunate lady, but to no purpose, death resulting somewhat suddenly as stated yesterday evening. Much sympathy was expressed for the unfortunate family in their sudden bereavement, Mr. and Mrs. Kerlin being well known and highly respected in the district.
