    • PERSONAL.
      Mr. Wilhelm Strassburg, an old identity of Frenchton, passed peacefully away at his residence on 3rd inst, after a long and severe ailment (writes our Rosewood correspondent). The late Mr. Strassburg, who was 69 years of age, was born in Germany on 30th May, 1853. He arrived in Australia in the year 1880, and during his life here followed up farming pursuits. He leaves a wife and four daughters to mourn their loss. Three of his daughters-Mrs. C. Schumck, Mrs. R. Schadwall, and Mrs. P. Jackwitz-reside at Blenheim, and Mrs. C. Pflugrath at Minden. The funeral took place to the Minden Baptist Cemetery on 4th inst., Rev. C. Cronan officiating at the graveside.
