- COLAC SHIRE COUNCIL.
WEDNESDAY, 21ST NOVEMBER [1900].
CORRESPONDENCE.
From C. H. Johnstone, secretary of the Colac Ladies' Benevolent Society, with reference to a letter re Patrick Lennon, stating that an offer had been made to his son, who was an invalid, the right to use one of the society's beds in the Colac Hospital, which would have relieved the old couple of his care. He regretted to say that the offer was declined, and the committee were unable to do anything further, other than to continue the weekly payment of five shillings per week, which they had been in receipt of for years from the society.-Received.
