    • Denning-Lose Wedding

All Saints' Church of England, Wickham Terrace, was chosen for the marriage on Saturday of Mr. George Denning (youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Denning, Sandgate) and Miss Priscilla Lose (eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Lose, Rosemount Terrace, Windsor). Dr. Dalley Scarlett was at the organ, and the Rev. A. L. Sharwood officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a trained gown of ivory satin, made with a basque and bell sleeves of net, showing bands of satin. Her cut tulle veil was held with a coronet of white camellias in halo effect, and she carried a shower bouquet. Miss Eunice Lose, who attended her sister as bridesmaid, was frocked in blue moire taffetas and wore a blue and silver head-dress. She carried a bouquet of autumn-toned flowers. Mr. Frank Trims was best man. A reception was held at the Australian Hotel. The bride's mother was gowned in crepe Juna, with a hat to tone, and carried carnations. The bridegroom's mother favoured black velvet, with a velours hat, and her bouquet was of roses. On leaving for the honeymoon, which will be spent touring the Northern Rivers district, the bride wore a frock of navy crepe, relieved with white, and a hat to match. [5]
