5023 Wendland--Carsburg.

A pretty wedding was solemnised at the Ingoldsby Lutheran Church on February 23 (writes our correspondent), the parties being Mr. Charles Wendland, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Wendland, Gatton, and Miss Ethel Carsbhurg, second youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Carsburg, Ingoldsby. Pastor Minge officiated, and Mr. Alex. Klibbe presided at the organ.

The bride entered the church on the arm of her father, who subsequently gave her away. She looked charming in a frock of ivory morocain, the skirt falling from a shaped yoke in a full flare to the ankle. The bodice featured a V-neck, finished with hem-stitching, long tight-fitting sleeves with puff sleeves to the elbow. The bridal veil, which was of tulle, was worn with a wreath of orange blossoms. The bride carried a beautiful bouquet of Shasta daisies, intermingled with ferns, and tied with white satin ribbon. She also wore white suede gloves, finished with white fringe, and white kid shoes to tone. The bridesmaid wore a frock of pale pink silk georgette, ankle-length, with set in godets finished with frills and bows, also a pink crinoline hat to match. Her bouquet was of pink asters and ferns tied with a pink satin ribbon. Mr. G. Dodt was best man. A big number of friends congregated at the church to witness the ceremony. As the couple left the church confetti was showered upon them.

After the ceremony the guests were entertained at the residence of Mr. L. Schafferius, where the wedding supper was served. Pastor Minge proposed the loyal toast, and all sang "God Save the King." Pastor Minge then proposed "The Bride and Bridegroom." The bridegroom responded. Mr. George Dodt proposed "The Bridesmaid." The toast, "Parents of the Brlde and Bridegroom" was proposed by Mr. L. Gelhaar. The newly-wedded couple left for Toowoomba the following morning, by car.
